Unsure of my path, I majored in Spanish and stumbled into marketing. It wasn’t until I took part in the digital transformation of a global corporate services firm that I discovered art and culture are essential ingredients of every business strategy. Problem was, this rarely came through in B2B messaging.
You see, B2B buyers are people first. Sure, they care about features and benefits. But they also care about design, user experience, and whether a brand aligns with their values. As part of a brand refresh, an international corporate services firm needed a new brand voice to attract millennials. I developed an editorial style guide that boosted blog traffic by over 10%, which resulted in 3X the engagement.
WEB CONTENT REFRESH
A children's dental practice wanted to get more leads from its website. I edited the existing content and integrated child-friendly dental terms to highlight their ability to create a positive experience for children. After the website relaunch, the practice received 200 additional new phone calls per month. (I also translated the copy for the Spanish-language version.)
A nationwide retailer wanted 66 hyperlocal websites to drive foot traffic into local stores. I wrote unique content for all 66 microsites, each one optimized for SEO. Three months after the launch, the retailer requested 100 additional microsites.
